Don't think I can add more in the ways of superlatives beyond what I've seen in some other reviews for this place. All I can offer is my agreement with the reviews that say that this place has a fantastic atmosphere, the serving staff are brilliant and well the turkey ham and cheese croissant was the best I can remember having. Phenomenal place to visit. My thanks to Emir and the ladies for the hospitality. And I need another one of those hot chocolates. Superb!!!
I love Galao. I go there everyday, I’ve tried everything on the menu and it is consistently amazing. Coffee is sensational, the sandwiches are carefully prepared fresh for you and they are generous on portions. Acai bowl is beautiful and tasty. Emir, Ruby, Dienifer & Lauren are always smiling, they’ll have a conversation with you and bring a charismatic atmosphere to the coffee shop. Coffee will never be the same anywhere else. 10/10 :)
Such a great cafe! Coffee is delicious as are their sandwiches (although I’m slightly upset they changed the bread ) and both very reasonably priced! Particularly appreciate that they don’t charge extra for oat milk - not many places you can get an iced oat latte for 3.60! Staff always lovely and the vibe is nice and chilled.
One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in London - used to spending 7 on a baguette and being disappointed with the quality but this was delicious. Also delicious coffee cake, moist and rich. Matcha was perfect too and such a cute vibe - can’t fault it!
This is a lovely little cafe close to the Forest Hill train station. A welcoming clean interior greeted me as I walked in followed by a beautifully warm welcome by the staff. I had a hot chocolate, I am told, made with Belgian chocolate rather than powdered chocolate - it was rather nice, as was the chocolate danish that accompanied it. Well worth a visit and I will certainly come again.
A very pleasant place to sit near the station. Opens early. Comfy sofas inside and when the weather is good you can sit outside. Highly recommended.
Galao has the best coffee and sandwiches around. The atmosphere is amazing, and no other spot comes close — I’m completely hooked!
Beautiful cafe!! We had lovely drinks here and look forward to going back again.
